The Data Management Professional, working under direct supervision, is responsible for ensuring data quality monitoring and mitigation activities and ensuring adherence to high standards of accuracy and reliability. The role engages with end users and fosters a collaborative environment by providing effective training and support for efficient data management processes. The role collects, analyzes, and communicates business needs, offering recommendations to align data management projects with organizational goals. The role facilitates communication and documentation of data mappings, translations, and flows across various data stores and processes, demonstrating a commitment to regulatory compliance, data security, and industry best practices. The role also provides support for metadata, master data management, and ETL processes, adhering to data security policies and developing Service Level Agreements, while also supporting business unit teams, data administrators, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. * Works under direct supervision to ensure data quality monitoring and mitigation activities, maintaining high standards of accuracy and reliability. * Engages with end users through effective training and support, fostering a collaborative environment for efficient data management processes. * Collects, analyzes, and communicates business needs, offering recommendations to align data management projects with organizational goals. * Facilitates communication and documentation of data mappings, translations, and flows across various data stores and processes. * Demonstrates a commitment to regulatory compliance, data security, and industry best practices within the organization. * Provides support for metadata, master data management, and the movement of standard data (ETL processes), while also adhering to data security policies and developing Service Level Agreements for ETL processes. * Supports the enterprise in achieving effective data management. * Gains experience, completes routine data management tasks, and develops skills under direct supervision, supporting change efforts and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. * Develops basic data management knowledge, accesses relevant data services, and gains awareness of industry practices, fostering effective working relationships and learning from subject matter experts. * Identifies routine data management problems, prioritizes, and completes assignments with direction, develops awareness of project management, and demonstrates academic understanding in the discipline.
