 We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction crew. This role is responsible for placing, finishing, and repairing concrete on a variety of job sites including foundations, slabs, sidewalks, curbs, and more. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with concrete work, a solid understanding of construction techniques, and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes. Responsibilities
 
 
     Set and align concrete forms for sidewalks, curbs, pads, and slabs Pour, spread, and level concrete using rakes, shovels, and screedsSmooth and finish surfaces using hand tools (trowels, floats, edgers, jointers)Apply textures or surface treatments as specified (broom finish, stamped, etc.)Monitor weather conditions and adjust finishing techniques accordinglyCut control joints and edges for proper expansion and appearanceCure surfaces using appropriate compounds and methodsEnsure quality control, proper thickness, slope, and surface integrityRead and interpret blueprints or drawings as neededMaintain tools and equipment in clean, working orderCleaning and inspecting surfaces for pouring issues.Directing the casting of the concrete with the truck driver.Safely operating power vibrator to ensure the concrete is compacted.Molding and constructing expansion joints using joiners and edging tools.Polishing surface using a power surfacing machine.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications

     2+ years of concrete finishing experience preferredMust be at least 18 years of ageStrong knowledge of concrete tools, techniques, and materialsAbility to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentComfortable with standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 75 lbsReliable, punctual, and able to work well in a teamValid driver's license and reliable transportation preferredAbility to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.
