OKC, 73120 Hours: M-F 8:00-5:00 Responsibilities This position's home office is at Mercy Tower in Oklahoma City. Frequent or permanent assignment across the Oklahoma City metro is expected for clinic coverage. Occasional travel outside of the Oklahoma City metro may be expected. Candidate must be comfortable flying in a small aircraft or driving a motor vehicle for long periods of time to reach rural clinics on an as needed basis. Essential Functions: Performs in-person and remote interrogations of pacemakers, defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders using device company programmers, remote interrogations, inputting data in the proper systems and preparing reports for the physician and the billing department, occasional scheduling appointments, scanning reports. Qualifications Education: High School graduate or previous medical assistant experience required. Graduate of an accredited paramedic or registered nurse program or successful completion and certification as an IBHRE Certified Cardiac Device Specialist required. Licensure/Certification: BLS certification required within 90 days of hire. RN with current Oklahoma RN license in good standing, and/or current IBHRE certification as a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist required. Valid driver's license required. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience with preference in cardiology or electrophysiology. A minimum of three (3) years clinical experience preferred. Past experience with interrogating and programming Pacemakers or ICD's preferred. Previous experience with cardiac rhythms and implantable cardiac devices preferred.
