Nurse Supervisor (RN) - No Weekends - $5,000 Sign on Bonus

Be part of the Saint Therese difference! We are seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join a dynamic team at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers. Position available 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. - Full Time - Monday - Friday (80 hours per pay period), position will work every other holiday.

A Nurse Supervisor is responsible for:

• Manages and supervises the activities of a shift in the care center.
• Acts as a resource in interpreting nursing policies and procedures and their application to residents and staff.
• Assigns staff to handle campus emergencies in the absence of administrative staff.
• Assist in resident admissions to the facility.

Qualifications:

• Degree obtained from an accredited nursing program.
• Must be in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and have a current MN RN license.
• Three years of nursing experience is required.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills.

Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Demonstrated working knowledge of nursing department functions with special emphasis on compliance with Federal and State Regulations
• Knowledge of the scope of the Minnesota Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act
• Demonstrated ability to participate in and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Effective time management/prioritization and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of computers and related software and particular familiarity with databases

Pay Range: $40.49 - 54.96/hour depending on experience

Saint Therese of Woodbury is now on a public transit roadway. Metro Transit is now piloting a new on-demand, shared ride service in a few areas around the metro, including a 13-square-mile area in Woodbury and parts of Oakdale and Lake Elmo. Metro micro will operate between 5:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on weekdays; 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on weekends.
