Summary Description: The Reliability Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the maintenance and reliability strategies across the facility to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. This role oversees preventive and predictive maintenance programs, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and leads a team of skilled technicians and engineers to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.Qualifications Key Accountabilities 
 Personal qualitiesResponsibilities include the supervision of the Reliability engineers and teams along with management of the overall reliability program at the facility. This includes management of the reliability programs at the facility (Vibration, Infrared, Lubrication, Precision, Inspections, and RCFA's)Responsible for the personal safety of the members on the Reliability teams and equipmentManage the teams in a manner consistent with the Company and Mill philosophies, policies and proceduresAssure training and competence of the workforce according to established guidelines, policies, and proceduresInvolve team members in the decision-making processPromote positive interpersonal relationships between members within the area and across the mill to insure a positive work environmentAnalyze equipment histories, along with working with area leadership and Maintenance & Engineering Manager, to identify specific repetitive failures and effectively address identified areasCoordination with operations/maintenance to ensure that proper process care services and inspections are scheduled and performed when dueDevelopment of engineering solutions to chronic repetitive failures and process/equipment problems; implementing ways of reducing the need for maintenance; and ultimately eliminating the occurrence of failures.Root Cause Failure Analysis coordination and overall management of the company RCFA tracking programRegularly review downtime reports and equipment histories to identify reoccurring maintenance problems requiring engineering attention. Find engineering solutions to the identified situations.Identify potential for cost reduction through extended parts life, reduced labor cost, and other parts-related improvement techniquesWill conduct our business in unison with all other best practice teams in the mill and throughout the corporation Required Education, Experience and Skills: Minimum: 
 BS Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering5+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance reliability experienceTroubleshooting, decision-making, good interpersonal/communication and organization skillsExperience with computer-based Asset and Management/Reliability software applicationsTo effectively motivate and manage direct reports and influence effective results through others.Familiar with RCFA, FMEA, RCM, CMMS and "reliability" tracking systems Preferred: 
 Application informationUnderstanding of Pulp & Paper equipment, processes, and systems.Working knowledge and support of planning and scheduling, predictive, and preventative maintenance functions.
