FINANCIAL ANALYST
KENANSVILLE, NC USA
As a member of the Finance/Accounting team, the Financial Analyst will be responsible forassisting in financial modeling and reporting, production costing, inventory movements/reconciliation and consolidation of key financial metrics.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Daily and weekly production report outs (update weekly performance schedules).
- Manage perpetual inventory, cost inventory, and ledger balancing.
- Review and book Basics inventory adjustments/movements (Raw Material, Greige Goods, Finished Goods).
- Investigate causes of significant inventory discrepancies to prevent reoccurrence.
- Assist in maintaining cycle count adherence/stratification.
- Journal entry preparation, entry to ledger and month end close duties - SAP General Ledger (may require weekend work).
- Prepare month end Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Work closely with plant controller and assistant controller to ensure a timely close process and accurate forecasts.
- Support Assistant Controller in maintaining standard costs in Basics (Review BOMs & SOPs, Cost Roll).
- Prepare and report daily MRO spending/lead weekly MRO Meeting - COUPA.
- Fixed asset management/CIP tracker - Premier Depreciation (Monthly Journal Entry & Reconciliation).
- Maintain lease management system - ManagePath (Monthly Journal Entry & Reconciliation).
- Prepare and book weekly payroll journal entry.
- SOX Testing/Lear Compliance Testing.
- Bi-Annual physical Inventory (may require weekend work).
- Develop strong relationships with other departments to effectively complete tasks.
- Suggest process and documentation improvements.
- Other Ad Hoc Request Assigned by Controller/Assistant Controller.

Your Qualifications:
- University Graduate with bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of cost accounting or finance experience.
- Ability to work independently and have a flexible schedule (may require weekend work).
- Must be able to communicate and work well with various departments.
- Proven Analytical, Communications and Organizational skills.
- Preferred Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and reporting requirements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to turn special request around quickly and effectively.
Bonus If You Have:
- SOX Experience/Champion
- CPA Certification
- Experience in the Automotive Industry
