        | Job Shift |  | Day |  | Description The Parent Educator is responsible for the implementation of family-centered, home-bases services using a model, assessments, planning, and referrals of families to community partners and agencies. Responsibilities: 
 
     
 Provide family-centered, home-based servicesConduct the enrollment, service planning and implementation of the Parents as Teachers Curriculum focusing on strengths and areas of concern.Conduct home-visits, addressing specific goals in the family service plan; conduct developmental screenings; make referrals and establish connections to other community resources identified in the service plan; facilitate educational groups.Document services provided to the family and submit required paperwork in a timely well-organized fashion.Participate in PAT staff meetings, multi-disciplinary team meetings, and other meetings as required.Participate in community events and recruitment eventsFollow agency policies regarding confidentiality and other consumer rightsMaintain flexible hours and schedule visits according to families' needs while not exceeding the 40-hour work week and in adherence with scheduling requirementsRepresent the agency in a professional manner within the communityWork well with other agencies' personnelRequires working flexible hours as determined by the agency, including some evenings a month and occasionally on weekendsRequires extensive travel in the community and working in clients' homesRequires ability to tolerate exposure to tobacco smoke, domestic animals, household pests, and other conditions common to a variety of home environmentsPerform other duties as required

 Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences, PreferredAssociates Degree, Required
 
 Experience 
 
     
 2 years' experience working with parents and young children with Bachelors Degree5 years' experience working with parents and young children with Associates Degree or equivalent

 Wage Range: $21 to $28 hourly, depending on level of education and experience Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm Benefits:
