This Marketing Intern role is responsible for providing support on day-to-day tasks and ongoing marketing initiatives and projects for the GuidePoint Northeast (NE) Region. This is an entry-level internship that will be exposed to a variety of marketing duties and roles including event planning, event management and lead funnel management.

Roles & Responsibilities



  • Assist in managing NE Events; pre-event and post-event deliverables.
  • Produce content and various marketing assets to be used digitally and for regional marketing events. This will include but not limited to Canva design assets, list uploads/downloads, print, social media posts, and promotional collateral.
  • Work with the NE Marketing Director to help execute the NE marketing plan across various areas.


Requirements



  • Experience in marketing, event management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience with G Suite, PPT and Excel.
  • Customer service mindset.
  • Demonstrated excellence with written communications, project, and time management.
  • This role is a part-time internship position, with up to 10% local/regional travel expected.

Expectations

This is a 12 week internship with a start date of Mid/Late September. Working 25-29 hours a week M-F, paid $20hr.



  • Have a personal computing device and access to high-speed internet during working hours
  • Local travel within the Rochester, NY and Buffalo, NY area
  • Must reside within 30 miles of Rochester, NY (preferred) or Buffalo, NY (secondary)
