Check Point Software is seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Security Architect to join our U.S. East team. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise CISOs, deliver thought leadership at industry forums, and drive pipeline growth through strategic engagement. The ideal candidate brings a strong background with technical credibility and business acumen to influence decision-makers and mentor sales engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Engagement & Thought Leadership



  • Serve as a strategic advisor and advocate to CISOs and senior security leaders across Fortune 1000 and large enterprise accounts.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships through direct engagement, industry roundtables, and 1:1 executive briefings.
  • Develop and deliver keynote presentations at security and technology conferences, industry events, and executive forums.
  • Publish thought leadership content including blogs, white papers, and industry commentary to elevate Check Point's visibility and credibility.


Pipeline Development & Field Support



  • Act as a strategic asset to regional sales and sales engineering teams to influence major deals through executive alignment.
  • Support pipeline creation by hosting C-level networking events, roundtables, and fireside chats.
  • Partner with field teams to uncover customer pain points and map Check Point solutions to executive priorities.
  • Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns and content development for the East U.S. market.


Internal Enablement & Mentorship



  • Coach and mentor sales engineering teams on how to position security outcomes and risk management to senior executives.
  • Translate customer trends and executive insights into actionable strategies for the broader field and product teams.
  • Deliver internal briefings, lunch-and-learns, and enablement sessions focused on executive-level conversations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity engineering or architect role.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise security architecture, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance (e.g., NIST, ISO, CMMC, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication skills and presence, with a track record of speaking at conferences and executive engagements.
  • Familiarity with the cybersecurity vendor landscape, preferably including Check Point solutions.
  • Strong understanding of sales cycles and experience supporting field sales or presales teams.
  • Ability to travel 30-50% across the Eastern U.S.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship


Preferred:



  • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification.
  • Published articles or recorded presentations on security leadership topics.
  • Prior experience at a cybersecurity vendor or consultancy.
