Summary of the Job:

Associate II, Sponsor Finance, will primarily be responsible for evaluating senior secured M&A financing and private equity investment opportunities as well tracking performance across the existing loan and investment portfolios.

About This Role:

  • Manage and analyze underwriting data for senior secured financing and private equity investments.
  • Perform financial and credit modeling for new financing opportunities.
  • Monitor and track performance of existing loans and private equity investments.
  • Assist the Sponsor Finance RMs with managing FNBO's credit approval process.
  • Maintain the Sponsor Finance team's CRM data.

  • General knowledge of financial and accounting concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers and external and internal business partners.
  • Ability to collaboratively work in a team environment and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field (business, finance, accounting, economics, etc..)
  • 1 - 3 years of banking, finance, accounting or relevant experience with mergers and acquisitions
  • Previous exposure to quantitative or data driven work
  • Proficient in excel

Desired:

  • Advanced degree or relevant work experience in finance, accounting or banking.
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $62,047.00-$102,377.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
