FACILITIES & MATERIAL HANDLING ENGINEERING: Designs and supports the development of sites, buildings, offices, material handling systems, and sortation equipment for manuals and less complex automated sort facilities. Supports and collaborates with vendors and field maintenance departments on preventative maintenance efforts for material handling and automated sortation equipment. Essential Functions
Minimum Education FACILITIES & MATERIAL HANDLING PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field . Minimum Experience Four (4) years experience required in technical area. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities FACILITIES & MATERIAL HANDLING PROCUREMENT ENGINEER: Knowledge of project management concepts and project lifecycle. Knowledge of a procurement lifecycle. Technical knowledge of goods or services to be procured. Knowledge of supply chain management. Knowledge of concepts related to construction and/or machine design. Preferred Qualifications: Civil/General engineer with project experience in warehouses, industrial facilities, modular systems, fuel islands, EV, and site development. Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, MEP, structural, stormwater), codes, AutoCAD/BIM, LEED; strong project management, vendor collaboration, energy/safety expertise. Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement. Pay: $5,424.03/month - 11,309.65/month Additional Details: This position must be domiciled in Pittsburgh, PA. Requires 3 days per week onsite in the Pittsburgh office.
