Position Description A Maintenance Supervisor isresponsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of a facility's equipment, machinery, and systems, ensuring they are safe, dependable, and efficient.This role involves managing a team of maintenance technicians, scheduling and delegating tasks, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily maintenance activity of Buena Vista and 10th street facilities, including WWTS. Supervise all ongoing P.M. programs to keep the machines in safe working condition. Directing and leading maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, scheduling repairs and maintenance tasks, and ensuring timely completion of work orders. Conducting regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure proper functionality. Maintaining inventory of spare parts and supplies, ordering new materials as needed. Ensuring adherence to all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and procedures. Communicating with management, staff, and external vendors, providing updates on maintenance activities and issues. Contributing to the development of the maintenance budget and tracking expenditures. Analyzing maintenance issues and developing solutions to ensure efficient operations. Function as liaison / contact to coordinate work performed by various contractors. Required Education & Qualifications High School Diploma required. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. 5+ years experience in maintenance or a technical field required. 3-5+ years experience in supervision. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and repair procedures. Leadership and Management: Ability to motivate and lead a team, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve conflicts. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with staff and management. Critical Thinking Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Understanding of OSHA and other relevant safety standards. Computer Skills: Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant computer applications. Modine is an equal opportunity employer.
