*Contract for Open Enrollment Period* *Professional Summary* The Premium Billing Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while independently managing premium billing functions. This role requires a strong understanding of billing processes, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex systems. The specialist will handle both inbound and outbound calls, resolve customer inquiries, and ensure accurate and timely billing support in alignment with company standards and values. *Key Responsibilities* * Provide superior customer service by resolving routine billing inquiries via inbound and outbound calls. * Analyze, research, and resolve billing issues independently, ensuring timely follow-up when necessary. * Educate members and groups on billing and payment processes, including online system enrollment. * Make outbound calls to notify members of delinquent accounts and assist with payment arrangements. * Verify eligibility for reinstatement reviews and complete necessary documentation. * Maintain confidentiality of member information in compliance with company policies. * Collaborate with internal departments to correct and update member accounts. * Demonstrate proficiency in navigating multiple complex computer systems with minimal supervision. * Meet department standards for response time, call handling, and availability. * Pass audits by adhering to departmental policies and procedures. *Qualifications* * High School Diploma or GED required. * Minimum of one year of customer service experience; healthcare experience is not required. * Strong phone presence and effective communication skills. * Intermediate computer proficiency, including navigating multiple programs and using 10-key. * Basic math skills and ability to perform billing-related calculations. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently under pressure and resolve conflicts professionally. * High level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. *Work Environment* Fully onsite at Murray location Training is usually 8-4:30 Mon-Friday. Post training schedules can start anywhere between 8-11am MST and can occasionally have a rotating Saturday. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
