About the role:

The Business Technology Analyst plays a critical role in identifying, shaping, and translating early-stage business needs into actionable opportunities that align with enterprise IT strategy. Supporting functions across Electrophysiology, Watchman, Structural Heart, Coronary Therapies, and U.S. Sales Strategy & Operations, this individual proactively surfaces and structures new demand while supporting value realization. This role suits a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, understands cross-functional business context, and effectively drives ideas into structured, value-driven initiatives using both business analysis and product ownership skills.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to intake and assess new ideas, technology needs, and value-driven opportunities.
  • Lead light discovery work to clarify business context, value potential, and alignment with enterprise strategy.
  • Translate ambiguous business needs into clear problem statements, high-level requirements, and user stories.
  • Map business processes, workflows, and system touchpoints to identify gaps and improvement areas.
  • Contribute baseline product ownership responsibilities including feature prioritization, backlog grooming, and MVP scoping.
  • Support project planning and coordination activities to ensure timely transition from discovery to execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in Commercial, Clinical, Operations, and IT to understand context and priorities.
  • Communicate updates, findings, and recommendations through visual and written formats (e.g., summaries, flowcharts, presentations).
  • Participate in portfolio intake, value framing sessions, and early-stage reviews of business cases.

Required qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of overall experience, including 5-8+ years in business analysis, digital strategy, product ownership, or IT/business consulting roles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Hands-on experience with project planning, Agile methodologies, and backlog management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate complex business needs into actionable technical solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working in large, complex enterprise project environments.
  • Demonstrated success operating within regulated environments and quality systems, including strong documentation practices.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, both in person and in virtual/hybrid team settings.



Preferred qualifications:



  • Salesforce certified
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce.com across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Community Clouds.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Artificial Intelligence-based solutions.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
