Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned. Maintain the Automated People Mover (APM) at the Pittsburgh Airport in accordance with company and customer specifications and in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Through observation and inspection, perform in failure causes, repair or replace failed items, and assist corrective maintenance on all vehicle, wayside systems, and supporting systems, subsystems, and components related to the operation of the Pittsburgh Airport APM system. 15% Assist in preventive maintenance on all vehicles, supporting systems, and wayside systems, subsystems, and components as directed by preset schedule or contingency related to the Pittsburgh Airport APM system. 35% Respond with alacrity to breakdowns and malfunctions of the system with the goal of eliminating down time and providing excellent customer service to passengers and the airport customer. 20% Maintain order and cleanliness in the work areas while sustaining inventories of parts and tools according to customer and management expectations. Participate in training as needed. 20% Actively participate in site safety programs and initiatives and act as a safety monitor for all employees, customers, and visitors to the site. 10% Here's what you will get: Pay rate: $25/hr DOE + a 10% shift differential Shift Hours: (11:30pm to 7:30am) Work Days: Saturday- Wednesday Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Basic mechanical or maintenance experience, understanding of use with general hand tools High School diploma or GED equivalent Proficient in the English Language Must be able to work shift hours 11:30pm to 7:30am Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
