We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Operator to join our chemical plant operations team. This role is responsible for handling, loading, and unloading a variety of chemical products, including Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs), drums, bulk trucks, and rail cars. The position requires strict adherence to safety protocols, accurate documentation, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload IBCs, drums, bulk trucks, and rail cars following established safety and operational procedures.

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required.

  • Inspect containers, hoses, and fittings for leaks or damage prior to loading or unloading.

  • Follow chemical handling procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

  • Accurately complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

  • Support other warehouse and plant operations as needed.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, chemical plant, or industrial environment preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

  • Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights.

  • Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork skills.

  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and around chemical products.

Work Environment
  • Industrial/warehouse setting within a chemical manufacturing facility.

  • Exposure to temperature changes, chemical odors, and varying noise levels.

  • Use of PPE required, including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and respiratory protection as needed.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $43,600.00 and $72,700.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
