 This type of appointment is not approved to work more than 999 hours per year for all positions combined. Should incumbents work more than a total of 999 hours in a year the appointment may not continue beyond one year of service.
        
 Colgate University, a 
        NCAA DI member of the Patriot League and 
        ECAC Hockey conferences, invites applicants for the Events & Marketing Coordinator position within its Athletics Department. This position reports to the Associate Athletics Director for Facilities, and the Associate Athletic Director for Marketing. The events & marketing coordinator is expected to adhere to all 
        NCAA, Patriot League, 
        ECAC Hockey and Colgate University rules and regulations. |   
      | Accountabilities | The events & marketing coordinator will assist with game day operations, development and implementation of athletics marketing plan, community event planning, group ticket sales, and corporate sponsorships. 
        
 Game Day Events/Operations Responsibilities (85%):
 
        
 Serve as a member of the event management staffServe as the home event manager for select Colgate sportsAssist in set-up and break down of home eventsAssist in managing facilities upkeep and schedulingOther duties as assigned.
 
 Marketing Responsibilities (15%):
        
        
 Assists to develop, direct, and enhance in-game promotionsAssists with implementing marketing initiatives to increase attendance through local community outreachAssist with group ticket salesAssist with social media campaigns

 One (1) year of relevant event management and/or marketing experienceAbility to work outside typical business hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of timeAbility to bend, reach, twist, and lift up to 50 poundsA passion for Intercollegiate Athletics
