Process Superintendent

Staffmark is partnering with a growing manufacturing facility in Vidalia, LA to hire a Process Superintendent for a direct hire opportunity. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for guiding the Process Engineering Team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the site. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on leadership style, a passion for continuous improvement, and a proven ability to engage teams at all levels.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000/year

You will lead the development of process control strategies, drive compliance to operational standards, and champion data-driven decision-making to ensure world-class manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Process Engineering Team to ensure safe, efficient plant operations
• Monitor KPIs and process controls; identify deviations and implement corrective actions
• Maintain Statistical Process Control systems (Cp/Cpk)
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives and Lean methodologies
• Develop and manage SOPs, operator training, and DCS interfaces
• Oversee mass balance analysis, raw material/reagent inventory, and compliance audits
• Support plant commissioning and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)
• 5+ years in Process Control within the chemical industry
• 2+ years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of SPC, ISO/ASTM standards, and Lean principles
• Experience with graphite, anode, or battery materials a plus
• Proficient in data analysis, SOP development, and compliance management
