Shift: 6am- 3:30pm

Note: This is a 9/80 schedule. Candidates will have every other Friday off. They will work 36 hours one week and 44 hours the next.

Job Description:

Client at Salt Lake City, Utah is looking for an Assembler 1 who has the primary responsibility to assemble products per work instructions. This is an entry level position with training and support provided to ensure a successful assembly of product.

Core responsibilities are:

  • Read work instructions, verify work instructions match assignment.
  • Learn new work instructions as required.
  • Collect required materials from bins. Set up workstations per work instruction.
  • Assemble parts and inspect own work as instructed.
  • Completely required training in a timely manner.
  • Assist other manufacturing staff with their duties as requested. Assist with other projects as requested by a member of management.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and calibration as required in work instructions. Verify work instructions match assignment



Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. One to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read and understand Device/Work instructions.
  • Ability to understand verbal work instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a repeated basis.
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)/color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors; depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
  • Able to succeed in highly regulated compliance-oriented environment while still providing service excellence.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume and distance.
  • Ability to carry out tasks through detailed written or oral instructions; basic computer skills.
  • IPC soldering certification preferred; soldering skills required
  • Ability to read/write/communicate in English language
