- Strategic Growth Planning
Lead strategic planning for initiatives including partnerships, and in-licensing to expand Masimo's portfolio across patient monitoring. - Opportunity Assessment & Execution
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify high-potential growth opportunities. Conduct opportunity assessments, financial modeling, and due diligence to support decision-making. - Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate with R&D, Commercial, Marketing, Legal/Regulatory, and Finance to evaluate alignment, mitigate risks, and ensure successful strategic initiative execution. - Market & Competitive Intelligence
Gather and translate voice-of-customer and competitive insights into actionable strategic recommendations and investment cases. - Business Development Execution
Lead negotiations and develop compelling value propositions for strategic partnerships, licensing, joint ventures, or acquisitions aimed at expanding capabilities or markets. - Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Prepare executive-level materials and presentations (e.g., board decks) articulating strategy, opportunity assessments, and business cases. - Performance Tracking & Integration
Oversee post-deal integration and track performance metrics, ensuring strategic initiatives deliver value and integrate smoothly into existing operations.
Qualifications & Profile
- Education
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred. - Experience
12+ years of strategic planning, corporate strategy, or BD experience-ideally within healthcare or MedTech-focusing on commercial and strategic development. - Skills & Expertise
Strong analytical capability (e.g., financial modeling, business case development), deal structuring, and negotiation skills. Proven ability influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort interacting with executive leadership and boards. - Personal Attributes
Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset. Results-oriented, collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity. Willingness to travel as needed.
Compensation The anticipated salary range for this position is $208,000 - $260,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.
