JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Smeal College of Business Management & Organization Department is seeking applicants for a part-time research assistant for Professor Semin Park. Professor Park is seeking a highly conscientious and responsible undergraduate Research Assistant to support in-lab data collection for a computer-based behavioral study. This is a great opportunity for students interested in psychology, management, or behavioral research. The RA will be primarily responsible for running study sessions, which include: Checking in participants and confirming consent Launching and monitoring computer-based experiments Troubleshooting basic technical issues Ensuring data integrity and professional conduct in a high-stakes research environment. Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies: Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability Excellent communication and organizational skills Basic proficiency with computers (e.g., browser navigation, data entry, troubleshooting) Comfort managing participants and following structured procedures Prior lab experience is not required, but professionalism and maturity are a must. Schedule: September 1, 2025 - November 21, 2025 3 - 6 hours every week (+/- 2 hours) Compensation: The rate for this job is $18 - $20 per hour, based on experience.
