JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Penn State Behrend's Student Disability Resources (SDR) is hiring part-time exam assistants. DUE TO EXAM CONFIDENTIALITY, THIS POSITION IS NOT OPEN TO STUDENTS. Hours will vary daily, between 8:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and 8:00am-8:00pm (Tuesday and Thursday). The hourly rate is $15, a maximum of 20 hours per week. Exams will be held in person. Responsibilities include administering exams, being alert and observant during exams, respecting the confidentiality of the SDR department and students receiving accommodations, and maintaining the integrity of the testing environment. Must be comfortable with in-person proctoring and have a basic understanding of Microsoft programs. Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
