Title: IT Project Manager IV Duration: 6 months (possible extension) Location: Chicago, IL (Remote) Job Summary: The IT Project Manager IV is responsible for driving strategic technology initiatives by leading projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage project risks and ensure high-quality outcomes. Required Skills: Project Management - End-to-end project delivery experience. Team & Communication Skills - Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration. Time, Budget & Risk Management - Proven track record managing scope, schedule, and costs effectively (PlanPlus experience preferred). Responsibilities: Maintain organizational effectiveness by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic IT plans. Lead and manage IT projects by coordinating resources, schedules, and stakeholder communication. Conduct research to align technological solutions with business goals. Oversee implementation and verify results through system audits. Ensure data security, disaster recovery, and backup procedures are in place. Evaluate organizational outcomes, identify issues, and recommend strategies. Manage budgets, forecast requirements, and analyze variances. Maintain professional and technical knowledge of industry best practices. Support a collaborative team environment and contribute to overall IT strategy execution. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or related discipline. Extensive experience in the IT industry, including development work and customer interaction. Strong background in project management with senior-level expertise (8+ years). PMP certification (preferred). Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Jira, Excel, or MS Project. Basic technical knowledge & project reporting experience. Agile/Scrum experience. PMP certification.
