This job opportunity is for psychologists to provide virtual care services - evaluation, diagnosis, and psychotherapy - for a wide-range of patients, most of whom are seeking care for mild-moderate issues. Teladoc is a one-stop shop for your practice as a psychologist. Teladoc identifies patients who match your clinical competencies, fills your schedule, and provides support for cancellation, illness, etc. Working as part of a care team, the Psychologistprovidesvirtual patient care via video andtelephoneappointments and documents using an EHR, with optional AI Scribe technology that takes notes for you. All of our care and systems are HIPAA-compliant. We want you to focus on providing the very best patient care, and we reduce your administrative burden to very little. You will never have to negotiate with an insurance company or get a pre-authorization again. Work with a healthcare team to provide patients outpatient psychology services virtually via video and phone communication channels, within the standard of care for telehealth psychology patients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Independently provide psychological evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment/intervention services for adults (and adolescents 13+ if desired). Work with a healthcare team to provide patients outpatient psychology services virtually via video and phone communication channels, within the standard of care for telehealth psychology patients. Be accessible to the Care Team to solve problems and keep the entire panel well cared for in a timely manner. Be able to lead case conference discussions, where you will support team members, including Master's-trained social workers and counselors, and answer clinical questions in a team-based environment. Analyze, generate and/or maintain a variety of clinical records and reports, test results, medical records, and assessments to diagnose the mental health condition of patients and propose treatment options. Attend staff meetings, trainings, meetings with directors and other similar activities as deemed appropriate by leadership. Consistently meet or exceed clinical quality and patient care standards, including adhering to department policies, procedures, and objectives. Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely completion of medical records. Demonstrate familiarity with the full range of Teladoc Health services including medical second opinion, treatment decision support, virtual primary care, tele-dermatology and other service offerings. Support the Medical Director and product team in the development of new products and services, as needed. Collaborate within the context of interprofessional teams, including psychiatry, medical, and operations colleagues Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws. The time spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs. Required Qualifications: PhD, PsyD., or EdDdegree in clinical or counseling psychology (or equivalent). Graduate school accreditation by the American Psychological Association or Canadian Psychological Association is preferred but not required. Successful completion of a one-year internship in clinical or counseling psychology (or equivalent). Internship accreditation by the American Psychology Association or Canadian Psychological Association is preferred but not required. Independent licensure as a doctoral-level psychologist in any of the 50 U.S. states or the District of Columbia.License certifications must be actively maintained. Experience in a busy clinical setting providing psychotherapy services Must be licensed in one of the following states: California, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Missouri, Washington, Mississippi, Virginia or Alabama PSYPACT authorization is strongly preferred, but not required. Experience with evidence-based care and/or measurement-based care is preferred. The base salary for this position is $109,675. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for productivity pay as well as a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
