Description Commercial HVAC-R Service Technician *Successful candidates are eligible for up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus!* Position Summary: Schwickert's Tecta America is looking for skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC-R Service Technicians to join our team. In this role, you'll perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on commercial HVAC-R systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC-R systems. Perform start-up of installed systems. Conduct regular maintenance and preventative servicing. Ensure compliance with HVAC codes and company safety standards. Participate in on-call rotation as needed. Assist with other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Valid driver's license required. Technical school degree preferred, but not required. 3+ years of HVAC-R experience preferred. EPA certification (or willingness to obtain within the first month). NATE certification, DDC/Pneumatic controls, boiler license, or refrigeration background a plus. Ability to work safely at heights and in varying temperatures. Capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing stairs and ladders, and performing physical tasks. Strong willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors. Pay Range: $25-$42+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
