Clinical Research Coordinator M_PEDS-ADMIN-CORE-RESEARCH Full Time 85708BR Job Summary The Clinical Research Coordinator will perform independently or with general direction at the fully operational journey level of the series to execute, manage, and coordinate research protocols, as directed by the Clinical Research Supervisor and/or Principal Investigator (PI) in the Department of Pediatrics. This position will operate in one or more divisions within the Department of Pediatrics and will likely support multiple investigators. Assignments may change based on funding availability. May coordinate the operations of several concurrent clinical research studies under the guidelines of research protocols, UCSF and regulating agency policies. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $34.32 - $55.19 (Hourly Rate). The Department ranks 14th in the nation among Pediatric departments for funding from the National Institutes of Health. The Department is comprised of 20 divisions, employing over 400 faculty, 100 fellows, 91 residents, 31 post docs and non-faculty academics and 170 staff. The Department has an annual revenue of $230 million through both clinical inpatient and outpatient activities and extramural funding (contracts and grants). Required Qualifications
