Are you looking to kick-start or continue your career as a research technologist in a cutting-edge laboratory performing genome editing in mice? Are you curious about CRISPR, how is it applied to generate mouse models and learn from the experts how to do it yourself? Our Core facility, Transgenic & Targeted Mutagenesis Laboratory (TTML) at Feinberg School of Medicine, is looking for a highly motivated individual who will support the core's operations in generating, characterizing and preserving mutant mouse strains. The mouse lines we generate are used by research labs across Northwestern, and beyond, to study development, understand the mechanisms underlying disease, and contribute to efforts aiming at finding cures to a battery of debilitating diseases. This job is ideal for a detailed-oriented and organized individual who loves to learn, be challenged, enjoys working as part of a team but also independently, has manual dexterity, and good communication skills. Our team is interactive, supportive and values strong relationships that foster personal and career development.
