Logistics Center Associate I- Product Eval

KARL STORZ'S logistics center in Auburn, MA has excellent opportunities for entry-level and experienced logistics and warehouse professionals to help us bring our products to the medical marketplace. We are currently seeking a Logistics Center Associate (Warehouse Associate) - Product Evaluation.

Shift: 6AM-2:30PM

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

• Evaluate and process electro-mechanical medical devices received within the product evaluation department.
• Process all devices with highest level of quality.
• Confirm all information attached to device coincides with physical part number and serial number (if applicable) on device and SAP
• Update software as required to specific designated devices
• Provide support in other areas within the Product Evaluation Department as requested by Product Evaluation Supervisor.
• Actively participate in and contribute to LEAN/Continuous Improvement initiatives

Requirements

Our successful candidate will be a strong communicator and have demonstrated success working in a collaborative, service-oriented team environment.

Additional requirements include, but are not limited to:

• HS Diploma or GED

• Minimum 1-3 years prior experience in an IT, electro-mechanical or equivalent role
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to model a team-oriented culture
• Strong safety and quality focus
• High attention to detail
• Dependable and punctual

Preferred, but not required:

• Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP system
• Familiar with LEAN methodologies

Physical Requirements

• Position requires constant and varying degrees of movement including standing, sitting, bending, walking, reaching, grabbing, and packing, lifting, pulling, and pushing
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 25lbs
• Must be able to occasionally lift between 30-75lbs as needed with assistance
• Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 320lbs on casters with assistance
• Must be able to occasionally use a warehouse ladder for reaching shelves
• Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack
• Ability to use standard office equipment (computers, copiers, etc.)
