The IT Infrastructure Manager leads the planning, implementation, and management of our organization's IT infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, network architecture, cloud services, and team leadership.
The IT Infrastructure Manager oversees all aspects of IT Infrastructure operations and strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role includes leading cross-functional initiatives, managing IT budgets, and driving the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance business capabilities. Competencies: Functional:
- Design, implement, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Lead and manage a team of infrastructure engineers, system administrators and contract resources.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and high availability of infrastructure services.
- Oversee infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and hardware/software procurement.
- Manage disaster recovery planning and execution, including backups and business continuity.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimum downtime.
- Collaborate with application, security, and support teams to align infrastructure with organizational needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and operations.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for infrastructure services and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Core:
- Strong understanding of Windows/Linux server environments and enterprise storage.
- Experience with cloud Azure and/or AWS infrastructure and services (experience with both preferred)
- Proficiency in network architecture, firewalls, VPNs, and LAN/WAN technologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years of team management experience.
- 7+ years of experience with Windows/Linux server environments and enterprise storage.
- 5+ years and demonstrated proficiency in Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructure and services. Preference for experience with both.
- Demonstrable knowledge and expertise with network architecture, firewalls, VPNs, and LAN/WAN technologies.
- Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in IT Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, Administrator Associate, Solutions Architect
- Proven experience with digital transformation initiatives and cloud-first strategies.
- Demonstrated success in building high-performing IT teams.
