DEPARTMENT: Information Techonology TITLE: Infrastructure Telecommunications Specialist STATUS: Full-Time, Non-Exempt PAY RATE: $28 per hour THE SALVATION ARMY MISSION: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. MAJOR FUNCTION: Responsible for coordinating Internet Service Providers (ISP) and telco installs and disconnects throughout the territory. This includes scheduling with local site contacts, ISPs, and Network/Voice team for installation of plain old telephone system (POTS) lines, as well as cable, satellite and cellular Internet. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Telecom Coordination and Scheduling (50%) Telecom Review (25%) Telecom Database Updates and Reporting (25%) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation. EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION * Two years of college in a business or communication related field.
