Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. Goldbelt Professional Services specializes in providing expert resources for Public Health missions including scientific, technical, and administrative support from junior staff to high-level subject matter experts. Research and data driven, Goldbelt Professional Services' experts create solutions customized to the client's needs. Summary: The Process Advisor IV shall serve as a liaison between the AJPEO MRAS leaders and the AJPEO MRAS regulatory team to capture portfolio level information to inform independent assessments of product development strategies.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating and documenting internal AJPEO MRAS processes (e.g. SOPs) and providing assessments on how to increase process efficiencies, to include document and tasker review and execution as well as contribute to the modification, development and implementation of internal policies and procedures.
- Review, draft, manage, maintain, and retain documentation in support of the AJPEO MRAS office.
- The contractor shall be responsible for assisting in developing and executing outreach strategies and plans that build partnerships in support of the AJPEO MRAS office.
- The contractor shall work with HQ and Joint Program Manager (JPM) team members to understand, analyze, execute, and communicate acceptable solutions to overcome challenges and mitigate cost, schedule, and performance risks.
- The contractor shall review deliverables such as but not limited to internal and external whitepapers, reports, publications, and briefs, including those of other agencies, and provide analyses to include relevance and impact.
- The contractor shall review and search scientific literature and databases to identify technical information and to provide references to substantiate comments and recommendations to strategies or the review of deliverables mentioned above.
- The contractor shall respond to internal and external requests for information.
- The contractor shall be required to attend meetings, communicate verbally and in writing, and present briefings when the need arises.
- The contractor shall maintain awareness of program status, execution, and milestones, as well as their corresponding strategic impacts, in order to communicate effectively and accurately.
- The contractor shall present a portfolio-wide perspective to provide advice and recommendations to Government leadership on all aspects of program start-up, management, strategy, and execution in order to ensure performance requirements are met.
- The contractor shall attend and provide support at meetings, events, and reviews for relevant stakeholders in person and/or via teleconference, video teleconference, and/or web-conference.
- The contractor shall prepare meeting minutes, white papers, and briefings as needed to inform leadership.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Shall have at least ten (10) years of working experience with Microsoft Office, to include MS Outlook, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
- Possess the ability to perform multiple task simultaneously and rapidly redirect efforts based on changing requirements.
- The contractor shall possess strong writing and oral communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Pharmacology), Engineering, Systems Management, Business Management.
- Minimum ten (10) years of technical experience in supporting medical product development.
- Shall be required to travel (25%).
- Clearance: Secret
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, as well as fifteen (15) years of general experience and ten (10) years of relevant experience.
