About the Role
Redhorse is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property and IT Manager to provide comprehensive asset, inventory, and IT management support to our client within the Department of Defense. This critical role ensures 100% property accountability for government-furnished equipment (GFE) exceeding $5 million, impacting mission-critical operations. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance with stringent DoD regulations and streamlining logistical processes, directly contributing to the success of our client's mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Asset, Inventory, License Management, and Logistical Support in accordance with enterprise-level policy and guidance including DODI 5000.64, DISA Instruction 270-165-9, DODI 5000.76, and DISA Instruction 270-165-8.
- Ensure 100% Property accountability for WHS and JSP Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in the Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS), including IT and furniture assets exceeding $5 million. Support requests and requirements for approximately 6,000 individual assets annually, often handling multiple concurrent requests daily.
- Conduct inventory transactions and prepare transaction reports to the Accountable Property Officer (APO) to ensure transactions are properly processed on and off hand receipts; support inventory transaction reports for approximately 3,000 individual assets annually, often handling multiple requests daily.
- Perform annual and cyclic inventories to validate existing hand receipts to reflect all processed transactions. Conduct both annual and quarterly inventories for WHS and DISA JSP accountability requests for information and data calls.
- Initiate and process DA Form 4949, Administrative Adjustment Report (AAR) for minor adjustments, Government Property Pass (GPP) to remove property from facilities, Found on Installation (FOI) for unaccounted property that's accountable, and Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL). Support actions to complete and process these deliverables for approximately 2,000 individual assets annually, often handling multiple requests daily.
- Facilitate Acquisition, Life Cycle Refresh, and proper disposition of serviceable excess and unserviceable assets via Turn-In. Handle multiple requests daily.
- Provide support for all I&S facilities, including move planning, office configuration, and space utilization to ensure compliance with SCIF accreditations and support changing mission requirements.
- Facilitate the submission of service requests in the facilities, infrastructure, and IT management support systems (WHS Maximo and GET ITT) and provide oversight of request management. Handle multiple requests daily.
- Provide support for the management of I&S Government Vehicles, including vehicle reservations for use and vehicle maintenance scheduling. Facilitate multiple reservations weekly.
- Provide facility safety and compliance management support to WHS on behalf of the OUSD(I&S) for over 40 Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF). Support provided quarterly.
Required Experience/Clearance
- 6 years of relevant experience in property and IT management, preferably within a DoD environment.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited school.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.
Desired Experience
- Experience with the Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS).
- Experience managing SCIF facilities and ensuring compliance with security regulations.
- Experience with Maximo or similar facilities management systems.
