The role of the Corporate Solutions Analyst encompasses providing essential production support, conducting thorough problem analysis, defining effective solutions, and gathering user requirements for mission-critical systems at Ports America. Serving as a crucial link between business users and the development team, the Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of systems while ensuring stability in existing platforms. This opportunity offers a unique blend of business analysis and technical system skills, providing exposure to a diverse range of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Customer & Application Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers.
- Independently handle support tickets and resolve application-related issues.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and analyze issues for in-house and third-party systems.
- Maintain a deep functional understanding of multiple enterprise applications.
- System Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor and maintain system performance.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in collaboration with IT.
- Implement updates and enhancements.
- Periodically review application usage to identify areas for optimization.
- Documentation & Training
- Develop and maintain user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and training materials.
- Conduct training sessions to improve user understanding of application functionality.
- Data Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
- Analyze application usage data, performance metrics, and user feedback.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define new requirements or enhancements.
- Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
- Communication & Vendor Collaboration
- Coordinate with vendors for third-party application support and updates.
- Ensure clear communication across cross-functional teams.
- Escalate and track vendor-resolved issues as needed.
- Other Duties
- Participate in change management processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an analyst or support role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possess a strong understanding of information technology concepts, processes, and systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with direct customer-facing support for enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in:
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and/or SAP Business Objects.
- Standard office software applications.

Working Conditions:
- This role is primarily office-based and involves extended periods of working at a computer, requiring proficiency in keyboard use and screen navigation.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders may involve occasional off-site visits and travel
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20%.
