  • Estimated hourly base pay: $27.92(minimum) - $34.90(midpoint) - $41.88(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an Operations Specialist, or looking to become one, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position supports production from a technical standpoint and has a basic understanding of the product being produced in the area. This position is the first line of defense for production related issues and will solve minor manufacturing problems and works with other members to implement processes and product improvements. What You Will Be Doing
  • Perform set-up and participate in first run of new product
  • Support non-standard rework of production components
  • Understands six sigma/lean tools. Participates in 5S
  • Troubleshoots and solves problems
  • Understands and follows processes. Identifies areas for improvement
  • Identifies mistakes on various manufacturing documents
  • Interprets work instructions and manufacturing documentation
  • Responsible for identifying mistakes on various documents
  • Interpret, edit and/or create work instructions specific to operational procedures
  • Train new members on manufacturing processes
  • Disposition standard nonconformance's (i.e. QNs/NCRs/ATRs)
What We Are Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting required
  • Basic written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
  • Solid manual inspection skills
  • Basic understanding of six sigma tools and lean principles
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Basic computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word, SAP, WISE, PLM)
  • Able to manufacture basic parts or assemblies with preliminary drawings. Able to operate basic test or manufacturing equipment
