Bring your strong analytical and business skills to work on a business management team supporting a rapidly growing technology team and business. Business Management provides strategic oversight into a wide variety of areas including technology budgets, operations, resource forecasting, risk management, culture initiatives, and more supporting Technology teams across Macquarie Asset Management.

What role will you play?

In this role you will be presenting monthly to the CIO on operational metrics (finance, risk, project updates, people/diversity metrics and more), and utilizing data to provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership and guide data-driven decision making. You will track department budgets and resourcing, draft month end reporting and providing analysis of financial budget and technology risk metrics, and compile executive level presentations and strategy updates. In this role you will help develop a risk led culture in coordination with risk management and technology teams, tells the technology story through metrics, and provides ad-hoc support for Senior Leadership, Team Leads, and other business managers.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrable analytics skills such as utilizing data and providing insights to executive leadership to make data-driven decisions
  • Organized and good time management abilities to support a global team with a wide variety of business and technology stakeholders
  • A risk mindset to assist in developing a risk led culture, in coordination with risk management and technology teams
  • Finance / Budget experience to support the tracking of monthly budgets and resourcing and strong interpersonal skills to create collaboration and connection across team members.
