Job Description

This position is a critical team member within Management Services supporting multiple departments including Risk and Insurance Management, Records and Information Management, Real Estate, and Procurement. Duties primarily fall under Risk and Insurance Management, a University department responsible for organizing, coordinating, and implementing programs to control risks for all University of Missouri campuses.

Key Responsibilities
* Research data to respond to inquiries.
* Perform a variety of financial functions such as reconciliation assistance, journal entries, and processing payments.
* Enter claims and incidents into database.
* Generate notification letters.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
* Maintain records of University One Card purchases, approvals, and relevant documentation including reconciliation.
* General administrative and organizational tasks such as making travel arrangements, order/stock supplies, and file management.
* Other duties as assigned.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

The successful candidate will be organized, efficient, detail oriented, and resourceful. Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are preferred as well as the ability to set one's own priorities in accordance with team needs.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $17.05 - $23.00 per hour
Grade: GGS-007
