The Manager, Payer Engagement - Commercial Operations - Remote is responsible for overseeing payer engagement team and ensuring processes are completed in accordance with commercial payer administrative and compliance requirements.



Your Impact

    Manage the payer engagement team responsible for notifying commercial payer partners of acquisition and Hanger clinic additions, changes and closures
  • Manage payer related correspondence, confirmation of changes and departmental reference files to ensure adherence to company policy
  • Advise senior management of contractual rights, obligations and interpretation of terms and conditions on pending acquisition contracts
  • Address issues and questions regarding payer engagement, payer escalations, and payer contracts
  • Maintain communication between the field, other departments, and Customer Operations
  • Provide regular reporting and communication to upper management on Customer Operations metrics
  • Provide support to the IMO team, as necessary, for acquisitions.
  • Foster open collaboration and constructive dialogue with everyone around you
  • Continuously innovate new solutions and identify process improvement opportunities


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience; BA/BS preferred
  • 3+ years' experience in healthcare contract administration
  • Prior experience in supervisory role or team lead strongly desired
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

#LI-Remote

Pay range of $71,040 to $88,800 annual salary + annual bonus: up to 10% of base pay depending on bonus criteria. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
