The Dermatology Account Executive is responsible for closing new business in the specialized testingmarket. Dermatology Account Executive has call point ownership of large specialty physician practices (Dermatology, Plastic Surgery) and specialty clinics. The specialist teams work in close cooperation with physician and hospital accountexecutives to support the collaborative selling model.
This is a field-based sales position supporting Western Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Westchester and Bronx, NY
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales through pre-call planning, post-call analysis and consistent follow-up
- Target and secure new business
- Provide overall support and expertise to new & existing accounts
- Increase discretionary business through insurance access
- Provide immediate support for less complex issues
- Leverage all tools and resources (including data, sales portal, target lists; Marketing Department, Laboratory resources, and regional or national resources as needed)
- Maintain a breadth of knowledge of all connectivity products
- Prepare and present proposals and bids
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations
- Complete all administrative tasks thoroughly and promptly
- Maintain knowledge of dermatology and melanoma market and Quest offerings
- Work collaboratively with the DermPath labs to communicate customer and market trends/needs
- Build relationships with the DermPath pathologists for customer engagement and communication
- Provide MIPS solutions to customers
- Drive growth through robust pipelining
- Solution development for TC PC work in dermatology setting
- Work collaboratively with the oncology account executive team
- Record all sales activities in SFDC
Required WorkExperience:
- Five years of experience in laboratory, healthcare, or diagnostic sales
- Five years of healthcare sales experience required in lab, diagnostic, or pharma
- Three years of dermatology lab, diagnostic or pharma experience, precision medicine experience preferred
- Strong medical/scientific background and contemporary understanding of both genetics and molecular diagnostics testing
- Dermatology Health sales or marketing experience preferred
- Ability to manage a sales funnel through strong prospecting and lead generation
- Large account management
- Proven track record of new business development in a hunter focussed sales role
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economic business
Bachelor's Degree Required
