GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Quality Control Supervisor provides front-line supervision to the Quality Control employees. Other benefits include Health and Family Care leave for both union and non-union employees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Quality control manager to maintain all certifications and calibrations needed for PCI.
- Work with Production to have the highest level of quality for our customers.
- Promote and maintain a safe environment and educate employees on safety topics.
- Assist Quality Control technicians on the daily schedule and issues that arise.
- Maintain a professional relationship with D&E, Sales, and Project Management to assist them with problems.
- Work with the Finish building to get samples/mockups finished and ensure high quality product is being produced.
- Work with the Batch Plant to consistently produce quality concrete.
- Work together with Human Resources to actively recruit future employees.
- Work with the Quality Control Manager to create mix designs.
- Train employees in new procedures to become more efficient.
- Move Quality Control employees around for best efficiency.
- Lead, manage, and hold all Quality Control employees accountable.
- Complete special projects as requested and perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Two or four (2-4) year college degree or two to three (2-3) years' experience in Precast Concrete preferred.
- One-three (1-3) years of experience in supervision preferred.
- Ability to obtain PCI Level II certification within 2 years of hire.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Must have interpersonal communication skills to interact with employees.
- Ability to supervise, manage, and facilitate others.
- Ability to train and coach other employees if necessary.
- Ability to work with others to get the project completed efficiently.
- Must be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of products the company uses, and which products would work best.
- Ability to organize schedules, people, and equipment for maximum production.
- Understand the production process to be able to coordinate schedules.
- Understands and accepts changes that are implemented to become best in class.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for typing, filing, and using office equipment.
- Visual acuity and ability to read small print.
- Hearing acuity and ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to lift and move office supplies and equipment.
- Mobility and ability to move around the office as needed.

- Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements.
