Description

The Sales Incentive Analyst supports the design, execution, and analysis of sales incentive programs for the Commercial Banking division, reporting to the SVP Commercial Loan Services. This position will be primarily responsible for administering of a variety of monthly, quarterly and annual incentive sales plans for MidFirst Bank's Commercial, Private Bank, and Treasury Management plans; other incentive plans may be added for MidFirst Bank's non-retail operations. This person will use their experience and knowledge to continuously improve the sales compensation administration process and to improve the data management of MidFirst Bank's internal metrics systems.

Essential Functions



  • Serve as a trusted and strategic administration partner to the business unit leaders and teams for incentive compensation plans (ICP)
  • Administer and calculate sales incentive compensation in alignment with plan rules and sales performance data
  • Use their experience to drive data quality improvement by learning current practices and then recommending process improvements that motivate performance, reward results and align with risk and compliance standards
  • Approach challenges with an energetic, thoughtful, and systematic approach, focused on robust and scalable outcomes
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; provide executive summaries of complex analysis to various stakeholders while also able to explain details of analysis as needed
  • Responsible for data governance of MidFirst Bank's internal loan profitability system which will require appropriate levels of communication with various levels of employees in Financial Planning & Analysis and Corporate Technology
  • Ability to work productively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization on a global scale
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively, particularly working with Commercial Banking, Finance, Technology, and Human Resource teams
  • Responsible for ICP projections and reporting to senior executives; including finance accrual maintenance and budget tracking for the various business units
  • Collaborate with business leaders and partner with the Human Resources Compensation team to review market data and ensure ICPs align with business needs, drive desired behaviors and support revenue targets
  • Lead projects as additional assignments arise - typically requiring unique, one-time analysis several times per year
  • Responsible for overseeing internal audits and presenting findings to Audit and business unit leaders
  • Responsible for preparation and distribution of ICP documents each year ensuring key objectives are incorporated; works with HR, Legal and Compliance to finalize plan documents.


Other Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of finance or compensation experience
  • 5+ years sales compensation experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical and advanced Excel skills, Power BI a plus
  • Experience implementing technology solutions preferred
  • Proven experience working with sensitive information and communications with the highest level of discretion and integrity


  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM/pipeline management tools is a plus
  • Ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights
  • Must be detail and solution oriented
  • Have the ability to work across all levels of the organization including being able to communicate and teach the incentive plans to the participants themselves
  • Must have strong written and verbal communications skills for cross-functional collaboration
