Description

The Retirement Plan Strategies Leader provides outstanding personalized service to their clients through the bank's premiere financial services. They are responsible for leading their team to achieve long term growth, provide clients a great experience, and contribute to corporate level initiatives such as training, marketing and business program development. They cater to the customer with a focus on growing and protecting the client's assets and seek to make a positive impact on the communities in which they live and work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Commercial Lending & Treasury Management on identifying prospects.
  • Identify platform(s) to use for Retirement Plan Business.
  • Create a consistent process across Divisions for prospecting business.
  • Establish a Service Level Agreement far exceeding client expectations.
  • Adhere to the complexity of retirement plan administration and compliance.
  • Establish processes and procedures that align with corporate goals and initiatives

  • Oversees Wealth Partners Retirement Plan Business
  • Creates best practices for Wealth Partners on engaging with Plan Sponsor
  • Establishes a robust program for employee education

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual is required to perform each crucial job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below: 4-year degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum of 7 years' experience in Employer Sponsored Retirement Plan services and strategy. Demonstrated expertise in implementation and conversion of existing plans. 7+ years' experience in Wealth Management or a related field required. 10+ years' worth of wisdom in banking, financial services preferred. Prior sales and new business development experience required. Management and recruiting of team members will be required over time. Proven experience advising clients of investments, pre- and post-retirement, education funding, and financial planning. CFP or similar professional designation preferred. Retirement specific industry designation (QRPC, CRP) preferred. FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses plus PA Life & Health license are preferred but not required. A background screening will be conducted.

  • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.
  • TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. Prior experience or the ability to learn excel, power point and any other computer programs pertinent to performing job duties.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate of return, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

This position operates in a professional office environment with time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others. May be required to lift 30 pounds in weight. Ability to travel to all market areas for client meetings and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
