POSITION SUMMARY:
The Care Services Administrator ensures administrative support for the Care Services Department, while also providing resources, services, and building relationships with those served and community partners. This position has the ability to articulate services and programs provided by The ALS Association and within the territory.

ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide administrative support to Care Services staff.
  • Analyze and organize care services operations and procedures, including information management, filing systems and requisition of supplies.
  • Respond to clients and family inquiries for information about ALS.
  • Coordinate quarterly updates of the Territory's local and regional resources for the Resource & Referral Hub.
  • Facilitate access to territory services, resources such as Durable Medical Equipment, Assistive Technology and education materials.
  • Assist staff in maintaining records, files, and databases, providing reports as required or requested.
  • Update and maintain client/constituent records in Salesforce as needed.
  • Responsible for the distribution and mailing of: Registration and Intake packets, ALS Certified Treatment of Excellence and Recognized Treatment Center Clinic Satisfaction Surveys, Pre and Post Event/Grant Surveys, 6 month/1 year follow up bereavement cards and other outreach materials.
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly reconciliation and submittal of payment for care services grants and vendors to Home office accounts payable via current system.
  • Support the Association's care services functions; generate requested information, data and reports from information maintained in database and other source information.
  • Respond to and coordinate requests from Care Services staff.
  • Provide event assistance for education and groups, as needed
  • Provide administration for care services grants throughout all stages including receiving, assessing, tracking, payment/check requests, and maintain accurate and timely records of grant programmatic activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum AA/AS degree in related field. Education and/or background in accounting or business-related experience; data entry experience a plus.
  • Minimum of two years professional experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills and communication skills, including computer skills.
  • Ability to function independently within set guidelines.
  • A strong work ethic, essential for this demanding environment that continually strives for excellence.
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office; Inventory Software; Project Management Software. Familiarity with Concur and Salesforce a plus.

PAY TRANSPARENCY:

The ALS Association's pay range for this position is $40,170 - $46,735 annually.

The ALS Association has compensation ranges for various work locations throughout the United States, allowing us to compensate employees competitively and consistently in diverse geographic markets. The above-listed listed range shows prospective compensation for this role; the appropriate range will be established by what is eventually determined to be the candidate's primary work location. Various factors, including the complexity and significance of the role, job duties/requirements, relevant experience and abilities, and primary work location, determine individual compensation. Compensation ranges are evaluated and typically adjusted on a regular basis. Offers are made within the compensation range that is in effect at the time of the job offer.

The Association may, at its discretion, offer merit-based increases tied to individual performance. The benefits listed may differ depending on employment status with the Association. Healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan with employer match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, paid time off and several paid holidays are available to Association employees, among other benefits.
