To coordinate and perform a wide variety of department/office activities that will increase department/office efficiency, expedite/coordinate the work of others, and ensure the smooth operation of the department/office. |

General Office Support:
* Receptionist for the front office of the Music Department and initial point-of-contact for inquiries.
* Sorts and delivers department/office mail.
* Monitors and orders department supplies.
* Process student assistant timesheets.
* Supports faculty (photocopying and scanning). |

* Maintains department faculty/staff directories.
* Maintains department files and databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility of information.
* Maintains department website, updating and organizing in consultation with department members and on own initiative. |

Description |
Event Coordination:
* Manages department-sponsored events, including Vaughan Recital Series, Masters classes, Tracy International Piano series, class visitors/performers, student recitals. Manages all publicity and advertising for events including the Dartmouth Events calendar, Listserv, Facebook, online local events and arts calendars, local newspapers. Coordinates concert and recital series to ensure optimal scheduling within Dartmouth calendar of events. Coordinates class visitor and performer logistics including guest itineraries, lodging, travel, and catering.
