Job Description

Job Summary:

The Mercury Systems Peachtree Corners line of business is an extremely technical unit focused on the design, manufacturing, and distribution of RF microchip-level electronics. This position will interface with members of the production and engineering staff daily to provide fast and efficient responses to customers who are interested in our parts. Coordinate with Sales in generating customer quotes, preparing proposals and booking orders, and maintaining short- and long-range sales forecasts. This position is fast paced, with exposure to multiple business processes with growth potential.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Receiving and responding to customer quotation requests and sales orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Managing customer communications on all matters relating to production and sales
  • Respond to RFQs (request for quote)
  • Adhere to import and export rules and regulations
  • Process customer purchase orders (new orders and change orders)
  • Build strong relationships with internal departments and external customers
  • Perform general data entry and data management, including the use of tools such as Netsuite and Office 365
  • Assist in overseeing the use of various sales tools, applications, platforms
  • General office tasks such as answering phones and greeting visitors


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • Typically requires 0-2 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, finance, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Understanding of electronic catalogs of items and ability to complete sales order quotes based on customer request
  • Knowledge of inventory levels and lead times based manufacturing timeline
  • Understanding of basic sales metrics
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and comfort explaining insights to stakeholders
  • Detailed-oriented and focused
  • Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks or deadlines


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite or SAP
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience supporting a sales organization in tech or B2B
  • Experience participating in cross functional projects
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work with minimal supervision
