Responsibilities

Under close supervision, the IT Support Intern will assist the IT Support team in providing technical support to Grow Financial Federal Credit Union employees. The intern will gain hands-on experience with desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and various internal systems. Typical help desk responsibilities will include answering support phone calls, responding to support tickets, assisting with hardware, and software troubleshooting, setting up user accounts and supporting remote access and connectivity issues. The intern will also contribute to the ServiceNow implementation project, supporting configuration, testing, and documentation efforts.

Internship to start Fall 2025, with competitive pay starting at $20/hr.

We do not interview or hire students in F-1 or J-1 status and will not sponsor them for work visas.



Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

    Must be currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or related field.
  • Basic understanding of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Mac OSX and general troubleshooting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of 50lbs pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
  • Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
  • Use of computers requires repetitive key strokes..

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Traditional office setting; reports to Grow HQ. Qualified candidates must live local to Tampa Bay.
  • Hands-on tasks may include assisting with hardware setup and relocation.
  • Requires a minimum of 20hrs/week (maximum of 29 hrs./week.) Hours are flexible between 8am-5pm EST, Monday- Friday
