Position Summary:
This position will provide support for the US International Distribution Center network through the management of daily reports, analysis, KPIs and system maintenance. Support projects by providing data, information or presentation materials relevant to logistics and warehousing processes. Identify continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives through the evaluation and analysis of US IDC processes and KPIs. This is a transactional position responsible for producing daily reports with a career path towards a more strategic role in the department once performance is proven. This position will work cross functionally with various departments including Global Quality, Supply Chain, IS, and Supply & Demand Planning.
Primary Duties:
- Assists US Distribution department on cross functional projects, responsible for: running reports, providing analysis, and creating presentation materials.
- Through analysis of data, identify and propose operational and technical continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Logistics integration for acquisitions/company mergers.
- Develop and manage: warehouse KPIs, daily inventory reports, and SAP inventory reconciliation.
- Analyze Logistics processes and systems to ensure quality/regulatory compliance and internal/external customer expectations are met.
- Assist with EPROC process and purchase order creation for department suppliers
- Assist with adhoc projects as identified by department director
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business/Material Management/Purchasing/Science, or seven years of industry related experience in logistics management with proven ability to lead and/or assist with projects .
- Requires a minimum of three years progressively responsible experience in logistics management, with proven ability to lead and/or assist with projects.
- Must have working knowledge of GDP, ISO, CGMP and MRP manufacturing principles.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including verbal and written skills.
- Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Package.
- SAP experience preferred
- Data driven mindset with ability to summarize and communicate analytical findings
