As a Department Assistant you will provide administrative support to several levels of leadership throughout the organization. You will manage the daily administrative needs of executives, and the main administrative aspects of the department. Create a favorable company image. Provide different executive administrative responsibilities at a high level of performance, accuracy, dependability, confidentiality, and a knowledge of the organization, operation of the company, and office routine.

In this primarily office-based role, you will be expected to spend at least 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from the office. Candidates should reside within approximately 35-50 miles of one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783

Position Compensation Range:

$25.00 - $33.65

Pay Rate Type:

Hourly

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

* You will provide data and project management support; create and inputs data into division or department filing, support, and tracking systems.

* Attends project meetings and prepare documents and follow up status reports.

* Assists department management and direct reports with project related tasks: e.g., meeting coordination, communication, supply acquisition, documentation.

* Works with department management and staff to determine their project documentation needs. Create documents such as flowcharts, e-forms, charts and graphs.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

* Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.

* Demonstrated experience in an administrative support role.

* Demonstrated experience preparing reports, charts, and presentations.

* Solid knowledge and understanding of various PC software applications.

* Demonstrated ability to maintain department specific databases and/or recording systems.

* Up to 10%.
