Summary:

As a Part Marker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and identification of aerospace components. The ideal candidate should have a good eye for detail and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Inspect and verify part numbers, serial numbers, and other identifying information on aerospace components.

- Apply appropriate markings, labels, and identification tags to aerospace parts as per industry and company standards.

- Utilize various marking techniques including etching, engraving, and ink stamping.

- Maintain accurate records of marked parts and ensure traceability in compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure all markings meet specification standards.

- Operate and maintain marking equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines during the marking process.

- Assist in the development and improvement of marking processes and procedures.

- Conduct regular audits of marked parts to verify accuracy and compliance.

- Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the relevant departments.

- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Required Skills / Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Experience in aerospace manufacturing or assembly operations.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.

- Familiarity with marking tools and equipment used in aerospace part marking.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in marking components.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.

- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

- Understanding of safety protocols and regulations in an aerospace environment.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Effective communication skills.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Required: Compliant with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S. Person status (ITAR defines "U.S. Person" as a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.)

Educational Qualification:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in aerospace or related field is a plus.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace assembly or a similar manufacturing environment.
