The Coordinator, Student Involvement Resources is an integral part of Organizations & Student Involvement, helping connect students and student organizations with valuable resources and leadership development opportunities. The Coordinator of Student Involvement Resources provides on-going support for the development of resources available to student-led organizations and initiatives using technology such as Campus Labs/Engage and training opportunities. The Coordinator provides guidance on fiscal and equipment processes and procedures to provide support to students and their organizations toward the goal of enhancing their overall student experience.
Job Description Typical duties may include but are not limited to:
- Develops and delivers training, leadership development, social events, and educational programs for Student Government and Registered Student Organizations to enhance student engagement and skill-building.
- Leads organization development initiatives to support student leaders and promote overall student success.
- Coordinates and facilitates training for students, faculty, and staff on student engagement technologies and tools, such as Campus Labs/Engage.
- Manages the inventory and distribution of services and equipment within Organizations & Student Involvement, supporting Student Government, the Programming Board, and student organizations; tracks usage data and reports outcomes to stakeholders.
- Recommends new resources or replacements based on the evolving needs of student organizations and governance bodies.
- Ensures compliance with policies and procedures related to Student Government and student organization operations; assesses practices and suggests improvements based on evaluation results.
- Advises students and organizations on Activity and Service Fee request processes, ensuring alignment with the Finance Code and applicable university, state, and federal policies.
- Oversees student organization travel (domestic and international), ensuring adherence to Student Government and SSEM policies, and prioritizing student safety and risk management.
- Designs and executes evaluation and assessment tools to measure the impact and effectiveness of student involvement programs; shares findings with supervisors and relevant stakeholders.
- Recruits, trains, supervises, and provides direction to student employees working within the unit.
- May supervise Graduate Assistants or interns, ensuring the delivery of impactful student life programs.
- Ensures all activities and events comply with applicable laws, university policies, and safety regulations.
- Participates in budgeting processes, including creating budget recommendations and supporting the development of activity and service fee funding requests.
- Monitors expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to university financial guidelines.
- Serves on departmental and cross-campus committees to support event planning and collaborative programming initiatives.
Other Duties:
- Serves on institutional committees representing the interests of the department.

Additional Job Description Required Qualifications:
- This position requires either six years of directly related full-time experience or, as an alternative, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of full-time experience directly related to the job functions.
- Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Valid driver's license.
- Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization.
- Experience with student leadership workshops and program facilitation and implementation.
- Experience working in higher education.
- Experience supervising student assistants.
- Experience with the Anthology (Campus Labs) Engage Platform
- Experience with Banner, Workday, or similar software systems.

- Knowledge and experience implement ting and assessing the effectiveness of marketing strategies and promotional materials.
