Vendor Manager

Works as a liaison between vendors and the Dual Eligible line of business within the organization. Will manage all aspects of vendor activity, including but not limited to vendor compliance, engagement, oversight, and performance.
Essential Functions
- Reviews and negotiates terms of vendor contracts and communicates with vendors regarding day-to-day matters.
- Responsible for onboarding new vendors from requirements gathering to go live and post go-live.
-Works with internal stakeholders during the onboarding phase to ensure a successful launch.
-Builds and maintains positive relationships with vendors and monitors vendor performance.
-Evaluate ongoing relationships and contract changes needed prior to the term date. Ensures key stakeholders are kept abreast of vendor relationship changes and or potential impacts to vendor relationships.
-Responsible for working with vendors on key deliverables, including member materials generation.
-Research invoice and contractual issues and resolve discrepancies.
-Develop correction action and quality improvement plans for standards that are not met by vendors.
-Conduct monthly meetings, document, discuss, and resolve issues, as well as monitor completion of action items.
-Leads the onboarding and transition of new vendors.
-Monitor compliance with all contractual requirements, vendor performance, and reporting.
-Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments.
-Persist in accomplishing objectives to consistently achieve results despite any obstacles and setbacks that arise.
-Build strong relationships and infrastructures that designate Mass General Brigham Health Plan as a people-first organization.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Business preferred

Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of vendor experience, preferably in Medicare Advantage and D-SNP

Working Conditions

  • This is a remote position with monthly onsite meetings at Assembly Row, Somerville (attendance is highly encouraged)
